Green Cotton layers are stacked above and below the latex, and the entire core is wrapped in approximately 1.5 inches of pure wool, creating a sleep surface that is medium-firm in overall support with a soft, natural contact point on the surface. The addition of latex makes this mattress more responsive than a cotton-only option, giving it a gentle springiness that cotton alone does not provide.

The pure wool wrap works on multiple levels beyond comfort. It acts as a natural flame retardant, removing the need for synthetic fire retardant chemicals. It also serves as a natural dust mite repellent and a year-round temperature regulator, wicking moisture away from the body during warmer months and helping retain warmth during cooler ones.
