Collection: Oru

Oru is a small company in Hinesburg. We make a lamp that tells you how your wood stove is burning from anywhere in the house, so you can stop babysitting the stove.

It started with two inherited woodstoves and no idea how to run them. I kept getting up to check the fire, so I built something to tell me instead. The lamp glows amber when the fire is burning well, yellow when it's time to add wood, and red when it's running too hot. An app tells you the same thing when you're not home.

The lamp is solid walnut with a diffusing lens set into the top, designed here in Vermont. Everything Oru does today is free to use, with no subscription.
