Garuka is a silverback mountain gorilla living in the Virunga region of Rwanda. His name roughly translates as “Return Well,” and we've built our brand around that concept. When you purchase a Garuka Bar® to return your energy, you’re also supporting the cause to "return well" the future of endangered mountain gorillas. A portion of each sale supports the International Gorilla Conservation Program.

Through our clear packaging, catch a glimpse of something unique -- You'll actually see the ingredients of our bar! Because we hand mix and press each bar, it's easy to spot what's in every bite. This also means that for a bar with energy (and 6g of protein), it's deliciously light and chewy!
