I've been drawing this shape in my sketchbook for a while and I wasn't sure how I was going to treat the surface. After I rolled it out in PMC, I started to cut out little triangles- it wasn't until I was finishing this first pair that I really saw the sun and aptly named these Sun Shields! I imagine them as giant shields for ancient, Amazonian Sun-Worshipping Women! I'm so in love with these and feel like a Queen in mine!

Oxidized Sterling Silver Sun Shield Earrings are 1 1/2" wide x 1 3/4" tall and are suspended by Sterling Silver wire and earwires. These hang 2 1/2" from the earwires to bottoms of the earrings.
