<p>It has been nearly 2000 years since the world was betrayed by the mages of science. The changes that they wrought destroyed a civilization. Heroes rose to stand against the mages. The magic of science was destroyed and the world was reborn and with it new types of magic. But the old evils</p><p>did not die. It seeks to rise again. New heroes must step forward to stand against an evil from the dawn of time. </p><p>Some are born to be heroes, predestined and trained from youth to assume their place as the protectors of many. Others are forged by chance and circumstance. If the world is to survive again, heroes must step forward to stand against it. These are the origins of some of those to chose to serve, no matter the cost.</p>
