Vermont Honey
Vermont Honey
Raw Vermont Honey â From Our Own Hives đŻđ
This is honey the way itâs meant to be.
Our bees forage on the wildflowers, herbs, trees, and seasonal blossoms found throughout the Vermont landscape. Whatâs blooming changes throughout the season, so each harvest can have its own color, aroma, and flavor.
What Makes Our Honey Different
- From Our Own Hives â cared for, harvested, and bottled by Vermont Pure Herbs
- Raw & Unheated â never subjected to high-temperature processing
- Gently Strained â not ultra-filtered or heavily processed
- Nothing Added â just pure Vermont honey
- Naturally Seasonal â color and flavor can vary depending on what our bees are foraging on
Natural Crystallization & Air Bubbles
Raw honey naturally crystallizes over time. This is completely normal and does not mean your honey has spoiled.
You may also notice small bubbles, foam, or whitish areas near the top of the honey. These can simply be tiny air bubbles trapped in the honey during extracting, straining, or bottling. Because honey is thick, those bubbles can take quite a while to rise and disappear and may sometimes look white. They are not necessarily mold.
If your honey crystallizes and you prefer it liquid, place the container in warm water and allow it to warm gently. Avoid boiling or overheating it.
Flavor Profile
Smooth and naturally sweet with floral notes that change with Vermontâs seasonal blooms. No two harvests have to taste exactly alike â thatâs part of the beauty of real, local honey.
From Vermont Pure Herbs
We care for the bees, harvest the honey, and bottle it ourselves. What comes out of the hive is what goes into your bottle â simple, local, and close to nature.
Disclaimer
Do not feed honey to infants under 12 months of age. Honey can contain spores of Clostridium botulinum. An infantâs digestive system is not yet mature enough to protect against these spores, which can cause infant botulism. Honey is considered appropriate after 12 months of age.
