Ronnie and Matt set out to design the ultimate New England hike-bike boot. This collaboration melds Ronnie's intimate knowledge of trail biking and Matt's expertise in footwear design and engineering.

The boots are made from scratch at our shop in Vermont on our stitchdown platform, which allows for easy resoling and great durability. The upper is a thick, 5-6 oz leather tanned from US hides that will hold up well and breathe nicely, and it's trimmed with 4mm merino wool felt in the tongue and collar for cushion and great moisture regulation. The tongue is fully gusseted to keep debris and water out. You won't believe how light this boot is. The dual density soles are molded just for us at one of the last remaining US suppliers of outsoles, with a lightweight midsole and a traction tread layer Ronnie picked for optimal grab on the pedals and traction on the trail.  Other details include a fiberglass shank in the midsole for support, solid brass hardware that will never rust, and a reflective pull tab for visibility. They ship with 2 insoles: our breathable molded ortholite footbed and 4mm merino wool insole so you can try them both out.

Size: M5/W7
