Yakima Roof Mounted Tracks with PlusNuts are designed for vehicles capable of supporting a permanently installed roof track system. Yakima PlusNuts, which are basically threaded rivets that bolts can be screwed into, are used to attach the tracks through the top of your roof without removing the interior headliner. The installer should be aware that drilling and sealing is required for the correct, leak-proof installation. Silicone sealant is included in the PlusNut Installation Kit. Yakima Tracks with PlusNuts are designed for vehicles with metal roofs and ideal for mounting a complete Yakima SkyLine Tower Rack system. The Landing Pad 1 may be positioned anywhere along the Yakima Roof Mounted Tracks.
