Season's Favorites - Snowflake Greetings (Glacier Blue & Silver)
A frosty blue card fades from deep glacier blue at the top to a soft white at the bottom. A cluster of snowflakes drifts across the middle, with a large silver foil flake at the center and teal flakes gathered around it, and "Season's Greetings" in small serif type sits in the lower corner. Inside, the same gradient holds a few scattered flakes and the line "Wishing you all the joys of the holiday season." Each card comes with a pale blue envelope and a white liner.
In 1611, the astronomer Johannes Kepler wrote a short treatise, The Six-Cornered Snowflake, wondering why snowflakes always have six sides. Nobody could study them closely until the camera caught up. In 1885, Wilson "Snowflake" Bentley, a farmer from Jericho, Vermont, took the first photomicrograph of a single snowflake, and over his lifetime he captured thousands more. He became known for finding that no two seemed exactly alike, a discovery that still makes a snowflake feel like a small, one-of-a-kind gift.
