Religious Favorites Christmas Card Set - Three Kings

Religious Favorites Christmas Card Set - Three Kings

Three travelers journey across a sunset-colored sky, guided by a bright star and carrying gifts in gleaming gold. Their crowns, robes, and the lettering "Oh Come Let Us Adore Him" are all finished in gold foil, which catches the light as the card moves. Purple melts into orange across the sky, and a distant city skyline rests on the hills below.

The scene draws on the story of the Magi in the Gospel of Matthew, who followed a star to find a newborn king and offered gold, frankincense, and myrrh. The Gospel never says how many visitors there were; the number three came from the three gifts, and the traditional names appear only in later writings. The refrain "Oh Come Let Us Adore Him" comes from the Latin "Venite adoremus" in the hymn "O Come, All Ye Faithful," which has been sung at Christmas for more than two centuries.

Inside, the verse reads "May God bless your holidays with hope and peace," followed by "Merry Christmas," a heartfelt wish for anyone looking for a little light this season.
