Origin & Producer

In 2006, Asefa & Mulugeta Dukamo created Daye Bensa, a coffee grower & exporter in Ethiopia. Daye Bensa sources beans from its Shantawene farm, plus smallholder farmers from Shantawene, Karamo & Bombe villages and cherries coming from farms high up in the mountains, stretching between 1,900 and 2,217 meters. In 2020, Shantawene held 7th place among 1400+ entries in the Ethiopia Cup of Excellence!
