Myti has built a thoughtful and elegant solution to the logistics challenge created by the demand for free and fast shipping. Keep in mind, there’s no such thing as “free” shipping – someone is paying for it. In most cases, it comes at a cost to the shop owner, consumer, and the environment.
One of the most common questions we get as we talk to folks about Myti’s online shopping platform is “how will you handle delivery?” We thought it would be useful to show our process next to the default shipping system used by e-commerce giants. In a nutshell: the best-case scenario is your package takes three separate trucks before it arrives on your doorstep. Worst case? it takes at least four trucks and two planes to get to you. That’s after it takes a likely ride on a shipping vessel and several more trucks between the factory and a 1,000,000 square foot warehouse.
